Number 3 in the DOS GUI series.

This is SEAL Desktop v2.0.11 (2002), another nice little DOS GUI in under 3mb.

Development on this seems to have been between 1999-2003 and then nada.

Perhaps another case of it seemed like a good idea at the time.

I've attached a few screenshots but haven't done any full testing - feel free to.

One thing I noticed is that if you change the screen resolution it will hang on next boot.

A nice enough GUI with a few apps although the file manager needs a lot of work.

Edit: I went back to this and did a bit more testing and found this GUI is pretty much useless - it won't run DOS programs, there no way to create program shortcuts on the desktop or anywhere else and the file manager is too simple to be of any real benefit. Completely unusable as a GUI for DOS programs.

I've uploaded a zip and an ISO with the install files.

I've also uploaded a zip archive with all of the SEAL versions I've found on the net.

The VHD was created using VirtualBox 6.1.26.

To start, cd into C:\SEAL2 and run "SEAL".
